Use elements, not attributes, when something needs to grow
Quote
The problem with attributes is they're just a one and done. You get it's a key value, you get it you get one value, right? And if you try to stuff something else in there, you have to use delimiters.

Summary
An XML attribute is one-and-done: one key, one value, and anything more needs delimiters. If a feature will need to expand, make it its own tag so it stays extensible.
