It is if you aren't in the directories, you just don't exist, right?

Summary
Leo Laporte once asked who uses podcast directories anymore. The answer turns out to be everybody: apps rely on directories, so a brand-new feed that isn't in Apple's or Spotify's catalog effectively doesn't exist in those apps.
Not in the audio. The Leo Laporte framing comes from Dave's turn at 00:53:35 ('who uses podcast directories anymore? The answer is, everybody').
